The Pile load testing was done on three test piles for bridges at Km 18+865

Test Pile and anchor system

The piles being tested were working piles and were all 1000mm diameter in situ bored concrete pile 30m long. The working load for the pile is 1641kN and test load was 150% of working load. The test on pier no 8 was carried out on 2nd and 3rd March 2020. The test on Abutment no 1 was carried out on 6th and 7th March 2020. The test on pier no 3 was carried out on 8th and 9th March 2020.

The anchor system comprised of two anchor piles of 30m length 1000mm diameter long.

The test was by static compression load by maintained load system and was carried out to BS8004.
