HIGH STRAIN DYNAMIC PILE LOAD TESTING.  Rail over Bridge RIRONI, KANGEMI BRIDGE AND KAPENGURIA BRIDGE.

The works comprised of performing four (4)  high strain dynamic test on 3 bridges. The bridges were

a) Rail over bridge, Kapenguria interchange two tests

b)  Kangemi bridge 1 test. 

c) Rail over bridge 1 test

The equipment used was pile driving analyzer, PDA 8G pile driving analyzer. The impact device was a 14 ton hammer with a release mechanism for having a free fall drop of the hammer on the pile.

The tests were carried out during the months of August, September and October 2020.
